What is a YUMI™ Lashes lift?

YUMI™ Lashes lift is a true revolution in the world of beauty. It is a completely new lash lift method that makes your own natural lashes look long, stunning and beautiful without glue or separate parts.

What happens during a YUMI™ Lashes treatment?

Unlike a traditional eyelash perm, the YUMI™ Lashes method curls your lashes up, giving them length, height and volume, which makes them look longer and thicker.
The lashes are attached to silicone lifting pads with a water-based adhesive. The size of the pad is selected based on the length of the lashes. A special technique is then used with the lifting pads and products to curl the lashes to the desired position.

How long does a YUMI™ Lashes lift take

YUMI™ Lashes lift only takes 60–90 minutes, during which you can relax completely.

Does the YUMI™ Lashes lift include a permanent eyelash tint?

Of course! YUMI™ Tint permanent colours add the final touch to your stunning look and make your eyes sparkle! A permanent tint is always a part of the lash lift treatment.

Does the YUMI™ Lashes treatment have an age limit?

Yes. We only offer YUMI™ Lashes lifts to customers who are 16 years or older.

The YUMI™ Lashes treatment can be repeated every 8–12 weeks. The results of the YUMI™ Lashes lift last for 8–10 weeks, which is the normal life cycle of eyelashes.

How and why do the effects of the lash lift end?

The effect of YUMI™ Lashes ends when the curl leaves with the eyelashes that are replaced by new ones. Eyelashes are completely replaced with new ones every 3 months, which means that after this period, the treated eyelashes have been shed and replaced by a new growth of untreated eyelashes.

YUMI™ Lashes lift was created in France in 2008, and since then received much recognition from beauty journalists around the world. YUMI™ Lashes lift is a real alternative to eyelash extensions and false eyelashes.

Home care instructions for the YUMI™ Lashes lift

With these instructions, you can keep your eyelashes beautiful for a long time
• Do not wet your lashes for 48 hours after the treatment, because moisture may dry out the chemically treated lashes.
• Moisturise your lashes 1–2 per day with Yumi™ Lashes moisturising and nourishing colourless conditioning mascara. Your lashes will stay more beautiful and vital and keep their lovely curl for longer when you moisturise them every day.
• Brush your lashes every morning and evening to keep them clean and at their best.
• You can repeat the Yumi™ Lashes lift after approximately 8 weeks.

Preparing for lash lift treatment

You haven’t used oil-based products on your eyelashes for 4-8 weeks before lash lift? Using oil-based products – especially castor oil or coconut oil – on the eyelashes may very likely saturate the eyelashes with oil and create an impenetrable film on the eyelashes. In this case, the active ingredients of the treatment cannot penetrate the eyelashes through the oil layer and it can significantly affect the outcome of the treatment.

The effects of using oil-based products on the success of lash lift are very individual. For some, even a small amount of oils may have a significant effect on the end result, while for others, the use of oil-based products has little effect. To be on the safe side, we recommend not using oil-based products (castor oil, coconut oil, oil-based eye makeup remover) for a few weeks before the lash lift treatment.
